Bunny Fold Napkin for Easter
The last time I hosted Easter at my house, I made these cute little bunnies out of napkins and put one at each place setting. Especially if you have children in your home, you may want to try these this Easter. They are simple to do and you get better after each one! Thinner napkins work a little better, if you have a choice.
Also, this is the time to start thinking of making Italian Easter Bread. If you have never made this delicious bread, give it a go this year. It is slightly sweet and a real treat. If you are looking for additional Easter recipes, you can try my Pesto Stuffed Eggs, which are so pretty at Easter. You can also try these pretty Edible Easter Egg Nests, which I have made and placed on the table for dinner. Enjoy!
Having trouble with the final tuck? I made a little video on Instagram to help with that.

How cute! I will definitely do this per Pasqua per le mie nipotine
This is quite a comprehensive how-to post. The folded bunny napkins look so adorable!
And I agree, this is gonna be perfect for Easter.
Thanks for a wonderful tutorial post. ^_^
What a great idea! I have wanted to do something special on my Easter table this year. Thanks for the how to photos!
These are adorable! And your instructions seem very clear so I may just have some table bunnies this year. Thank you so much.
This is a very old memory for me as my husband's grandmother used to makes these adorable bunnies for our children at Easter. She did not speak any English, only Italian, but the children clearly felt her love.
These are great! Thanks for sharing ! I'm going to one up you and add a jellybean in his tail!!! 😜

Clarissa: That's a great idea! Thanks and I think I will do that, too!
This tutorial is a very well done and thought out conceptual and visual aesthetic to do with napkins. I was very proud at the fact that human ingenuity which formulated from being able to fold and create this type of origami like artwork. I will be trying this when I get home and therefore will take a picture in the future for what I have represented here today. The napkins created from the folds of my hand will represent the enveloping beauty.
The napkins are adorable and I've spent quite a bit of time trying to fold a napkin following the directions. I have tried to follow your directions but am confused when you get to the photo (the 20th photo) where is says "and tuck this side into the side of the bunny tail". I am not sure where it is to be tucked into the tail. It can't go under as it wouldn't stay in place and tucking into the folds would prevent making it into the tail later on. Then I am not sure what is being done in the two photos after that. Can you try to clarify the steps for me? Thank you so much and Happy Easter!
This is the cutest idea I have seen yet. I have so many of my grandmom's old linen napkins and this is a great idea on what to do with them for the holidays! Thank you for the easy tutorial.
I love these! But I'm with Karen, the "tuck under the tail part" doesn't seem to work. Also, yours seem to have a nice band around the back of their neck that I can't get - help!
Have a beautiful Easter, how fortunate are we that we have the time and safety to worry about little bunnies?!
From The Italian Dish:
Karen & Meghan: Ok, guys, I have made a little INSTAGRAM video to show you how to do the final tuck! I thought that might help the easiest way! So click on my "Instagram" icon at the top of the blog and you'll see the video. Hope this helps! Let me know!

I just discovered your blogs and am so impressed with all you do. If you are ever in the San Francisco Bay area and want to teach a cooking class let me know. I'd love to have a few friends over and have you help us cook a meal. My grandparents are Sicilian and a few years ago, my husband and I visited Sicily. It was a culinary and cultural delight!
Very cute! Once my boyfriend at the restaurant made a flower from a napkin and gave it to me) It was fun.
